NATURAL VENTILATION

A flow network of pressure nodes coupled by non-linear flow resistances is used to predict the ventilation rates.

Each internal zone is represented by a single pressure node and the outdoor air at each opening by a boundary node.

The total pressure (po) at each boundary node in the flow network include wind and stack induced pressures.

The pressure of the internal node is taken as the static pressure inside the zone.
